Next year – the Michigan State Championship Tournament will run over 7 weekends (8 including Easter Saturday).  The tournament will begin March 21, 2009 and run through May 10, 2009


Congratulations to Christine Bator from Warren for taking 2nd Place in the Junior Gold Tournament in Detroit and has earned a spot on Team USA.


Congratulations to Michigan's Scholarship winners from The National Pepsi Tournament & Junior Gold Tournament in the Detroit area.

Brian McMahon (Saginaw) - received 3rd place in the Pepsi Division of the Junior Gold Tournament.  Greg Gose (Hudson) - 2nd Place in Pepsi Division I Boys,  and Krystal Eckel (Lapeer) - 3rd Place in Pepsi Division I Girls.  Greg & Krystal are pictured in the Pepsi Tournament Button on the left along with all Michigan's Pepsi Tournament advancers.


The Schildroth Invitational Tournament and the State Banquet were held July 19th & 20th at the Valley Lanes complex in Midland.  Pictures and scores from the tournament are posted under the button on the left.

MSUSBC Youth Assoc. Profile

The Michigan State USBC Youth Association, dedicated to promoting youth bowling throughout the state of Michigan, has a Board of Directors with elected officers. The state is organized into eight (8) areas with two directors each. These directors are members of the state board. Other members of the board are represented by the Mens and Womens State organizations and by the Bowling Centers Association.

The MSUSBC Youth Assoc. coordinates the sanctioning of youth bowlers through their local associations and provides a connection to the national organization. Along with this connection, the MSUSBC Youth Assoc. attempts to provide many opportunities for USBC Youth members and their coaches.
